2022 — The Beginning
2KD Hood Cleaning Is Born
Founded in Kenilworth, NJ by a team with a passion for fire safety and a belief that every commercial kitchen deserves to be clean. We started small — one van, one crew, and a commitment to doing the job right.
2022 — Certification
MFS Trade School Certified
Our team completed rigorous training through MFS Trade School, one of the most respected institutions for commercial kitchen exhaust and hood cleaning certification in the country.
2023 — Growth
Expanding Across Union County
Word spread fast. Restaurants, diners, and commercial kitchens across Union County started calling. We grew our crew, expanded our equipment, and built a reputation for showing up on time and leaving every hood spotless.
2023 — Standards
NFPA Member & Compliance Partner
We became proud members of the National Fire Protection Association, ensuring every job we complete meets or exceeds the NFPA 96 standard for commercial kitchen ventilation systems.
2024 — Expansion
